An African Village Seen!

Established in May 1987, One woman's passion for her Country of Origin, became art work.

Adole... Born in England, raised mostly in Scotland. Her love for Hand painting scenes from the African villages, she would spend some of her years in, painted with poster paints on card, turned into hand paintings on silk, cotton, various luxurious fabrics, using fabric Paint.

The scenes she remembered of the village people, the palm trees, Fishermen, Palms blowing in the beautiful cool breeze, are just some of the many paintings and prints that were produced.

Adole, also being a fashion designer, would design unique styles of clothing and use the hand painted African village scene prints as the fabric for the clothing.

Over the years, the expansion from Clothing, to greeting cards, grew to Home furnishings, Kitchen ware, accessories, bags and more.

Over the years, technology has allowed for the original Hand painted prints, to be produced onto items via digital printing, and the copy is unremarkable, looking exactly like the hand paintings, even down to the colours.

One wonderful thing connects the vast range of products.

That passion for Adoles Country of Origin and the wonderful scenes she saw growing up as a child, can all be found on all of Adole Design Products.

Whether you want a light summer dress, a beanie hat for the winter or wallpaper to revamp your lounge. You will be able to find a unique print at Adole Design.
